Born and raised in Tokyo, Takuhei Kawasaki got to know the outdoors through his childhood boy-scout adventures: survival camps in the mountains and on deserted islands. In high school he awoke to rock-climbing and mountaineering ? learned technique ? and the mountains opened up to him. In university, he spent summers skin diving in the ocean, and winters on the ski slopes. After graduating he studied ecosystems ? plant and animal life ? deepening his understanding of nature. As a sub-ranger in Yakujima he gave directions and guidance, explanations of animal and plant life, carried out erosion tests, and helped with the clean-up after typhoons. In 2008 he qualified with the Japan Mountain Guides Association and began his career as a guide. He specializes in Yatsugatake, the North Alps, Okutama, Hyakumeizan, and the Kanto area. Building on his broad experience, he plans to also run outdoor adventures for kids.

On the day: 100% Guide Fee

-> Guides lodging fee will be charged. 
-> All personal expenses, Food, Lodging etc., are the responsibility of the individual.
